I had a big year last year. I graduated from college and got my first job. It is a great job and I’m loving the money. Now that the new year has come though I get the pleasure of doing my first tax return. My friends are amazed at how clueless I am about this stuff. Until last week, I didn’t even know there were tax brackets! Luckily, after mocking me, a friend sent me a website that explains a lot of the information I need to know about taxes. They explain how to use tax calculators, which was really helpful. After reading through the information on the website, I feel like I’m prepared to file my taxes. From the calculations I did on the website, it looks like I might be getting a nice refund. There’s a laptop I’ve had my eye on. Hopefully, I can buy my first laptop with my first tax refund!
